Drawing, design for a man's costume for the musical 'The Show is On'. This musical revue for the Shubert brothers premiered in Broadway in 1937, with stage production and scenic design by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of lederhosen with green shorts, gray jacket with brown lapels over an orange shirt, a red cap with a thin, scrolling brown feather, and knee-length, pointed-toe, white boots with a red ribbon on the sleeve and a gray buckle on the foot.
