Plate 3 of a series of eight plates of emblems dedicated to Cardinal Mazarin. This design presents a man sitting on a chair on a pedestal, in front of a landcape of ruins lit by the sun placed in the upper left corner. There is an inscribed ribbon on the left of the scene. This scene is in a medallion surrounded by a wreath of flowers and snakes. At the top of the design are two trumpets and a ribbon with three stars on it. At the bottom are two quivers with halberds. Under the design is another inscription.
