Overcoat
Menswear grew more colorful in the 1960s; that trend continued into the 1970s. The provocative colors, large-scale plaid and exaggerated collar of this overcoat mark the shift of the classic trench coat from its more staid appearance into the livelier patterns and motifs of the era.
