Terracotta vase in the form of a pig
Figural vases in the form of animals were produced particularly in Corinth and in Rhodes. These objects were also exported to Etruria and adapted by local artists. Their place of origin is, therefore, often difficult to establish. The articulation of the pig with glaze dots is a feature often found on Corinthian examples.
