The German/American Provenance Research Exchange Program (PREP) for Museum Professionals

The German/American Provenance Research Exchange Program (PREP) for Museum Professionals, 2017–2019, is a transatlantic initiative designed to think strategically and collaboratively about provenance research in art museums. Its main focus is the Holocaust-era, with a particular emphasis on Asian art, decorative arts, and works on paper. The primary goal of the program is to create a network of German and American art-museum and research-institution specialists, and offer a platform to explore, share, and brainstorm with regard to their respective expertise.
