Since 1967, The Met’s internship program for undergraduate and graduate students has supported thousands of future educators, curators, conservators, writers, and leaders in the art and museum world. Working in over forty different departments, former and current interns have made an impact across the field, both in and outside of the Museum. Learn more about the internship program and how to get involved at The Met.
Stay connected to your fellow interns and intern alumni. If you have been an intern at The Met as an undergraduate or graduate student, we invite you to join our LinkedIn group. We like to hear from former Met interns. Please update your information with us, and let us know what you're doing.
