of Pop-Up Chats at The Met

Perspectives on the Middle East

Middle Eastern art is the focus of 10-minute pop-up chats led by members of the curatorial, conservation, and research staff at The Metropolitan Museum of Art on Friday afternoons at 3:00, 3:30, 4:00, and 4:30 p.m. Each talk in the series, called "Perspectives on the Middle East," will focus on a work or works of art of the speaker's choice and include informal discussion with the public. The chats take place in the department galleries for Islamic Art and Ancient Near Eastern Art through June 2.

Free with Museum admission.
