왕의 주상(柱像)
신원을 알 수 없는 이 왕의 주상은 현재는 소실된 생드니 왕립수도원의 클로이스터에서 완전하게 보존된 유일한 조각상입니다. 광배는 이 왕이 성인이었음을 나타냅니다. 프랑스 역대 왕들의 묘가 있는 생드니 수도원은 활동적인 수도원장 쉬제르의 지휘하에 중세 프랑스 양식 또는 후에 고딕이라고 불리는 건축 양식으로 재건되었습니다(1122–51). 이러한 새로운 고딕 양식의 특징 중 하나가 조각 입상과 원주를 통합하는 것이었습니다.
