벽천
석공 마을 세티냐노에서 태어나 위대한 건축가 안토니오 다 상갈로(2세)에게 훈련을 받은 시몬 모스카는 건축 장식 조각가로서주요 미술가들과 함께 작업하였습니다. 이 기념비적인 분수대는 아레초에 있는 포솜브로니 궁전을 위해 지역에서 유명한 돌인 삐에뜨라 세레나를 조각한 것입니다. 한편으로는 기초, 기둥, 엔태블러처 간의 놀라운 균형을, 또 다른 한편으로는 가면,국자가리비, 식물의 주제를 다루며 건축과 조각 사이에서 경쾌히 동요합니다. 모스카는 또한 그 여러 같은 해에 걸쳐 메디치 예배당에서 미켈란젤로를 위한 장식을 진행했는데 분수대 표면의 미묘한 조각은 모스카의 조각가로서의 기술을 보여줍니다.
