카드놀이용 탁자
이 최상급 카드놀이용 탁자는 1803년부터 1819년까지 뉴욕시에서 작업을 했던 연방시대의 뉴욕 거주 프랑스 가구제조인 샤를-오노레 라누이에에 의해 제작된 도금된 조각상의 시그니처 시리즈 중 한 쌍의 일부입니다. 정교한 미뿐만 아니라 그 기원도 놀라운 이 서명과 날짜가 새겨진 걸작은 본래 소유자인 올버니의 스티븐 반 렌셀러 IV세의 가문에서 내려온 것입니다. 이와 동일한 탁자에 대해 존재하는 청구서를 보면 이 한 쌍이 250달러였는데 이는 장인 가구제작자의 삯이 하루에 대략 1달러밖에 안 되었던 것에 비해 상당한 액수였습니다.
