Friends of The Costume Institute

Inaugurated in the fall of 2002, Friends of The Costume Institute is an invited group of supporters who fund the department's acquisition, conservation, exhibition, and publications programs. Beginning each fall and continuing through spring, Friends are invited to private events including behind-the-scenes tours and exclusive receptions with curators, designers, and key figures in fashion and design. A May event honors our spring exhibition.
