Heavenly Bodies Halo Making
12–8 pm
Inspired by The Met exhibition Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination and fashion seen at the 2018 Met Gala, design your own halo or crown adorned with flowers, gems, and more! Capture your individuality at The Met Mobile Photography Studio starting at 4 pm.  

Salud y Acupuntura para el Pueblo (Health and Acupuncture for the People)
12–3:30 pm   
Sit for auriculotherapy led by Puerto Rico–based wellness practitioners and activists Salud y Acupuntura para el Pueblo (SAPP; Health and Acupuncture for the People). Auriculotherapy is facilitated through a noninvasive pellet (or seed) application on the ear at the Shen Men, or "Heavenly Gate," ear point, also called the "gateway to the spirit." 

This offering is a collaboration between SAPP and Miguel Luciano, the 2018–19 Met Civic Practice Partnership artist. During his partnership, the artist will explore connections between the activist history of the Young Lords in East Harlem and contemporary activism in Puerto Rico post hurricane Maria.     

The Met Mobile Photography Studio with Portraits by Malike Sidibe
4–7:30 pm
Inspired by The Met exhibition, African American Portraits: Photographs from the 1940s and 1950s, sit or pose for artist Malike Sidibe, who provides a fresh take on the studio portrait. Portraits can be retrieved instantly via email.
