American Longrifle

Gunsmith Nicholas Beyer American

Not on view

Beyer is one of the few longrifle makers to regularly include Pennsylvania Dutch designs on his rifles, such as those seen on this example particularly in the style of its relief-carved floral decoration. Although lacking Beyer's signature, typically engraved in bold cursive lettering on the barrel, this rifle typifies his work in every other way.
