In this satire, Louis XVIII's meal is interruped by frightening visions of Revolutionary forces returning. At right, his nephew, duc d'Angoulême is speared from behind (his rear labeled "Elba") and cries "Treachery! Treachery! the National Guard will not obey our Orders, they are all for Liberty this reminds me of my Latter End, au Diable!"
