Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains various ornamental designs with grotesques and scrolling acanthus leaves after Aldegrever, Delacolombe, and Ducerceau. The designs include several garlands with scrolling acanthus leaves, one of them with a grotesque head crowned with large acanthus leaves from which emerge the scrolling leaves, three ornamental ewers with one handle, also decorated with leaves, and one of them with a grotesque on the lid, and other ornamental designs with different kinds of scrolling acanthus leaves, some also featuring scrolling strapwork, grotesques and shell motifs. The designs are executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
