Page of book containing 185 leaves with a collection of lithographs, aquatints, engravings, and other media, with ornamental designs published by Fleury Chavant in Paris, part of the publication "Guide du Dessinateur de l'industrie: une macédoine de dessins variés , tels que fleurs, ornemens, etc. ... Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains several ornamental designs with interlacing motifs after creations by Ducerceau. On the sides of the sheet are six rosettes made up of interlacing branches with small, stylized leaves, outlined with black on black grounds. On the center of the sheet are three ornamental banners, flanked below with stylized fleurs de lis, and two rectangular frames, all of them decorated with thin, black scrolling branches with stylized leaves and flowers, and some also with small, round stylized flower buds. The two rectangular frames have a rosette in the center, framed by the thin, interlacing branches that form the rest of the design motifs around them. The designs are executed with black ink on thin, light brown paper.
