Ouvrage destiné aux fabricants et dessinateurs de soieries... et Papiers Peints..." This plate contains a lithographed reproduction of a botanical painting with a bundle of naturalistic carnations by Jules Sette, executed with shades of gray. Some of the carnations are fully bloomed, and others are closed buds. The stems on which the carnations stand also contain elongated, scrolling leaves.
