Fifth plate of a set of 12 plates of men's and women's coiffures, containing four designs for women's morning coiffures. The hairstyles are presented inside four simple, rectangular frames, each containing an illustration of the upper body of a woman, wearing a fashionable dress of the 1770s, decorated with ruffles, ribbons and bows of different colors, which match the fancy hairstyle that adorns her head. The hairstyles are made up of light blue fabric, placed above the columns created with the woman's hair, which are decorated with rolling curls on the sides and back. The blue fabric is decorated with stripes, dots, or grids of lozenges in the different designs, and adorned with purple, yellow, or green ribbons, with thin pink, blue and yellow flowers, in some cases forming thin garlands with green leaves. One of the hairdresses is also decorated with two large feathers, and one has a hanging strip of pearls that rests on the woman's hair. In one, the light blue fabric forms a veil that covers the woman's hair. Under the illustrations is a short poem about fashion, which describes its frivolous and ephemeral nature.
