Coeffures du Matin ou les Negligés Charmans
Fourth plate of a set of 12 plates of men's and women's coiffures, containing four designs for women's morning coiffures. The hairstyles are presented inside four simple, rectangular frames, each containing an illustration of the upper body of a woman, wearing a fashionable dress of the 1770s, decorated with ruffles, ribbons and bows of different colors, which match the fancy hairstyle that adorns her head. The hairstyles are made up of light green fabric placed above the columns of hair, with rolls on the sides that frame the women's face and neck, and form different shapes: the first a double circle decorated with strips of white ruffled fabric, strips of white pearls, red roses surrounded by green leaves, and interlacing, purple ribbons. The second and fourth coiffures form large ovals above the woman's head, decorated with interlacing ribbons:red and purple in the first case, forming a large, purple ribbon on the front, and pink in the second case, decorated with small pink roses and green leaves. In the third coiffure, the green fabric is decorated with small rosettes, undulating and zig-zagging strips, and several layers of ruffles, and with a striped ribbon, half yellow, half pink, with a strip of white pearls running through the middle.
