Second title of a set of 12 plates of men's and women's coiffures, containing three images of women's hairstyles and one of a man's hairstyle. The hairstyles are presented inside four simple, rectangular frames, three of them containing an illustration of the upper body of a woman, wearing a fashionable dress of the 1770s, decorated with ruffles, ribbons and bows of different colors, which match the fancy hairstyle that adorns her head, and the fourth containing an illustration of the upper body of a man, also dressed in fashionable clothes of the time and his head covered with a hat. The first hairstyle, titled "La Circassienne Moderne" (the Modern Circassian), consists of the hair pulled up above the head, with horizontal scrolls on the sides, and decorated with ribbons, ruffles, and thin garlands of flowers and leaves, topped with large, colorful feathers; the ensemble is of pink, blue, green, and orange shades of color. The second hairstyle, "La Corbeille Frivolle et le Bouquet Galant" (The frivolous basket and the gallant bouquet) is made up of a large piece of fabric that forms a semi-circle above the tied up hair, decorated with garlands of flowers and leaves, ribbons, strips of pearls, ruffled pieces of fabric, and topped by two, large feathers, all colored with blue, pink, orange, and green. The third hairstyle, "Coiffure a la Sultanne Favorite", is made up of a large hat with pink ruffled border, decorated with a thic ribbon with pink, orange, and green stripes, and interlacing strips of pearls, topped with large feathers of pink, yellor, and purple colors, and one black-and-red feather, possibly of an exotic bird. The final hairstyle, for a man, consists of a black cocked hat with yellow borders with a thin, undulating line running through the middle, with a small brooch hanging towards the front, and a ribbon bow hanging to the side; he wears a leopard coat with red lining that matches the color of the border of the hat.
