13th plate of album with 60 19th-century costume plates and 1 drawing of mostly women's historical costumes, featuring a variety of designs for traditional costumes from different parts of the world, as well as costumes for literary characters, including Esmeralda. This plate consists of a woman wearing a costume for a fisherwoman from Cancale, made up of a calf-length, pale yellow dress with 3/4 sleeves and a pale blue marine neck under a dark blue corset with borders made up of red zig-zagging patterns and small, light blue dots, buttoned in the front with white buttons, and with a blue fabric tied around her hips. She wears a red-and-blue hat over her short, blond hair, and holds a gold and white fan with a hanging tassel on her hand. Her shoes are white, with low heels and have thin, red ribbons tied around her legs.
