This denomination of a Confederate five dollar bill has a portrait of Christopher Gustavus (C.G.) Memminger at the bottom right. Memminger was the Confederate Secretary of the Treasury. At the center of the bill is vignette of the Confederate capital, Richmond, Virginia.
