An exterior view of the Parliament Hall to the right of the Stirling Castle in Scotland. Parliament Hall, also known as the Great Hall, was built for James IV circa 1503, becoming the largest banqueting hall ever built in medieval Scotland. Throughout the nineteenth century, it was used as soldiers' barracks.
