This is an account of the funeral celebrations for Princess Maria Clementina, daughter of James Sobieski, eldest son of the King of Poland. Maria had been married to King James II's son also called James on 28 May 1719 in Madrid. In 1725 she left the prince and retired to a monastery where she died in 1735. The text description is in Latin and Italian, printed in facing columns. The two fold out plates show the elaborate exequy structure in the church and the second her funeral procession to St Peters.
