Palisades and Palaces

Joseph Pennell American

Not on view

Pennell's etching looks down from the rocky cliff top of the New Jersy Palisades, across the bottomlands filled with train tracks and shipping, towards the Hudson and Manhattan. The print was produced in an edition of about 50, after which the plate was destroyed.
