Woman's theatrical costume for "Topsy"
Drawing, design for a woman's costume, part of a group of 88 costume designs by Vincente Minnelli. The costume consists of a beige dress with a large pink scarf tied in a bow at the waist, a headdress with short branches with small, pink ribbons and a large bundle of pink scrolling feathers, and matching pink high heels. The figure represented with the dress, of dark skin color, is dancing, holding a white handkerchief in one hand and a light blue fan in the other.
