Funerary Cone of Userhat

New Kingdom

On view at The Met Fifth Avenue in Gallery 117

This funerary cone has the impression of a seal inscribed for an overseer of the royal harim named Userhat who owned TT 47 in the Khokha section of the Theban necropolis. The inscription also names his father, Neh, his mother, Sennu, and his wife, the house mistress Maiay.
