Technical description: False inner-outer case of trapezoidal shape with 1-piece angled spine, 45 notes c/e-c4, keyboard and keyframe and some case parts and hardware could be of 17th-century construction but much of the rest, including Dolmetsch-Chickering jacks and tuning pins, is modern (ca. 1905-10); curved bridge, no soundhole, lowest 8 keys and bottom holed for pedal pull-down wires (absent), naturals covered with 2-piece burl-like hardwood slips with partly replaced arcade fronts and inked pitch letters on tails, stained fruitwood? accidental blocks, laminated pinblock with pitch letters penciled on front and inscribed "A. P. Klein(?)/6-18-41" at bass end; case exterior painted black, lid interior with modern baroque-style painting incorporating unidentified coat of arms.
