Two vertical panels. At left, a figure on horseback and a standing figure in the foreground look back towards a battle scene in the background. At right, a figure on horseback seen from behind. From a series of six plates with decors with fireworks, created in conjunction with the fireworks display on the Hofvijver in The Hague. The series includes eight panels depicting the military success over the French and Spanish armies in 1702. First published in that year, the series was also included in both editions of the collected works of Marot, published in 1703 and 1712.
