Print series containing a title page and 11 prints showing portraits of Emperors from the Austrian lineage, starting with Rudolphus in the year 1273 and ending with the 'current' emperor Rudolph II. The portraits have been printed from small oval plates and are surrounded by large strapwork cartouches, which have been printed from seperate plates. There are four different cartouches which are used throughout the series.
