Born and trained Boston, Little's designs are associated with the Colonial Revival style. This fine pen and ink drawing centers on a paneled wooden fireplace in the architect's private study. A central niche frames a landscape containing an umbrella pine, with a seaside location suggested by shells and crab motifs above.
