Costume design for a bearded boyar, consisting of a blue robe with alternating strips of orange palmette motifs and a white, black, and gold belt tied around the waist, under a long, blue coat with interlacing branches with gold and purple semi-abstract oriental flowers, a large, gold collar bordered by small, white pearls, and long, pink pointed sleeves with orange palmettes on the elbows. A black cape hanging on the back, and blue, pointed shoes with brown scrolling motifs cover the feet. He wears a long, black hat without brim, and holds a white staff with golden details on his right hand. His fingers are adorned with white rings.
