The majority of the manuscript from which this page comes is in the Prince of Wales Museum in Mumbai (Bombay). Sultanate-period painting is rare and this set is one of the only three that combine Persian and Indian motifs. It may have been made at the court of Mandu in Madhya Pradesh.
