Nike running to an altar

Nike, the personification of victory, runs to an altar with outstretched arms. Despite the loss of glaze, it is possible to surmise that Nike held a wreath in her hands. This is a common attribute of the goddess, since it is the quintessential symbol of that which she embodies.
