Zaccaria Zacchi Italian

Not on view

Zacchi (1473–1544) was born of a Volterran family, and, according to Vasari, was a close friend of the FLorentine sculptor Baccio de Montelupo, from whom he "borrowed many things." He was much employed on large-scale decorative sculpture schemes farther North especially in Bologna and Trent.
