Pastoral landscape scene in the manner that became popular from the middle of the sixteenth century onwards. The print shows a small settlement or farm on the left side, with a duck pond in the forefround and a shepherd with sheep in the forefront on the right. The hatching and linework are executed in a very sketchy and loose manner.
