A rare Armstrong binding featuring an animal motif. The central winged dog within a heart motif references the book’s plot: a lawyer’s attempt to discuss business with a young widow thwarted by an encounter with an aggressive bulldog. Watson Library also has the green cloth variant stamped in light green and cream with the words "A Love Story" within the heart.
