As noted by Gullans and Espey, there are certain common and recognizable characteristics of Armstrong’s work, including her adaption of a stained-glass technique constructing a rectilinear design from disparate, individually-outlined parts. This is evident in this design of floating seaside motifs contained within gold stamped linear panels.
