This stout lady wearing a braided coat, and carrying bugles and a horn is a caricature of Lady Conyngham, William IV's mistress. The print is based on a larger image by William Heath. In 1829 the latter designed a series that suggest figures close to the king persuaded the conservative monarch to accept the Catholic Emancipation Bill.
