This print is based on a photograph of the drawing Hunt made on the woodblock, later cut to produce a wood engraving for Tennyson's Poems, published London by Moxon 1857. The drawing was necessarily destroyed when the block was cut and this illustration created for a 1903 New York edition of the Poems.
