Pocket Post Horn in G
Giuseppe Pelitti Italian, born Varese
This horn is 5 ½ feet long, but its tightly coiled tubing and small, oval-shaped bell enabled it to be carried with ease in a pocket. This compact form of the horn was used for the "small hunt" of rabbits, squirrels and other small game pursued on foot.
