A view of a 17th century period room, from the Canton of Grisons, Switzerland, at the Museum (06.968.1) with elaborately carved paneled walls. A chest stands against the wall and window with a deep sill is shown at right. In the center of the room an armchair with turned and carved legs, arms and back stands next to a table upon which rests a casket.
