Print from a series of six reproducing the weapon trophies over the second floor windows of Palazzo Milesi in Rome, designed and executed by Polidoro da Caravaggio in 1525/26. The print shows a large trophy with a Roman centurion helmet. The helmet is characterized by a female hybrid creature supporting a shell on top of which a lion is seated. The lion in turn supports the feather plume. The helmet is flanked by a shield on the left and a vase with a griffon's head on the right. In a semispherical compartment below the helmet the inscriptions have been placed.
