Trade cards from the "Heads-Up" series (R323), issued in 1938 by Goudey Gum Company to promote Big League Chewing Gum. Cards depict baseball player's photographic headshot on small cartoon drawing of his body. Below image is colored strip printed with name and team of player pictured. The set is composed of 48 cards starting with No. 241. Card numbers 241-264 have no background art while 265-288 repeat players with the addition of drawings and comments. Back includes player statistics, bio and advertising for Goudey Gum. Number 264 in series.
