Not on view

Two designs for a crucifix decorated with C-volutes and rocaille ornaments, placed next to each other on the horizontally oriented page. Some loose ornaments have been placed on either side of the designs. The design on the left is characterized by a snake with an apple on its base and has the same cross as in plate 2 of the series. The design on the right has the same cross as plate 1 of the series. In this case however, the cross is framed by a cross shaped ring of flame- and feather-like shaped rocaille ornaments.
