Print series consisting of a title page and eighteen plates with Antique (marble) relief sculpture on friezes, pilasters, panels and vases after drawings made by L'Huilier and Doublay in Rome, issued in Paris by Jean at his shop in the Rue de Saint Jean de Beavais No 32. The title page, which appears to have been added by the editor Jean, mistakenly attributes the entire work to L'Huilier, and identifies Doublay (spelled Doublet) and Romae (In Rome) as the engravers of the series. Inscriptions on the plate clarify that L'Huilier and Doublay made the drawings in Rome (delineaverunt Romae). One plate is signed C. Baquoy.
