Trumpet-vine textile

Designer Associated Artists American

Not on view

This small piece of trumpet-vine fabric printed in shades of green is one of the original samples of Associated Artists textiles given to the Museum by Dora Wheeler Keith in 1928. While some examples of Associated Artists textiles are marked with the firm’s name or initials on the fabric’s edge (such as the blue daffodil textile in this gallery), or have an interlinked “AA” as part of the printed pattern (such as the ivy textile), many pieces, like this trumpet-vine fabric, are unmarked.
