Feather and uraeus attachment for the crown of a large statue of Osiris

Late Period

Not on view

The element including a feather, horn and a uraeus fits on the side of a tall crown, almost certainly the atef crown worn by the standing mummiform Osiris. Judging by the size of the feather, the original statue must have been lifesize. The statue itself might have been either bronze or wood.
