Not on view

Design showing a quarter of a ceiling, with a portion of the painted scene from the central panel of the ceiling included at upper right, with Mercury surrounded by figures in a celestial setting. In the border, panels, with the one at left depicting Apollo and Daphne. In the corner, a medallion with children and a goat, below a bust set in a shell-shaped niche and flanked by female figures holding up a garland. From a series of six prints with designs for ceiling decorations. The prints do not show the whole ceiling, but rather a quarter or two-thirds of the design. Since most of them are symmetric, this suffices to understand the overall look of the ceilings.
