The costume was designed for the number 'O Leo', from the musical 'At Home Abroad', created for the Shuberts and performed in Broadway in 1935. An additional sheet of notes, typed by Vincente Minnelli, presents the details of the costume design: "#210 / Beige suede sport jacket, green and yellow / knit lumberjack under coat; scarf or brown / silk under that. Green [crossed out] suede shorts; green / wool socks. Brown gloves; brown felt hat with / yellow feather." It also contains additional handwritten notes added across the sheet.
